Main Sewer Line Cleaning
We clear blocked main lines with motorized augers built for the old cast iron and clay pipe under most New York buildings. Roots, grease and debris come out and the line goes back to full flow.
24 Hour Emergency Service
All Five Boroughs, Day or Night
Main line stoppages, backed up drains, camera inspections and sewer repairs. We're a family owned shop, and when you call you talk to the person who's coming out to the job.
Same day service available. Ask for a camera inspection before anyone digs.
Sewer and drain work is what we do. Every job is handled by our own crew with our own machines.
We clear blocked main lines with motorized augers built for the old cast iron and clay pipe under most New York buildings. Roots, grease and debris come out and the line goes back to full flow.
High pressure water scours the inside wall of the pipe instead of cutting a hole through the blockage. This is the right call for heavy grease and for lines that keep closing up after snaking.
We put a camera down the line before anyone digs. You watch the screen with us and see the break, the root intrusion or the low spot for yourself.
Cracked, collapsed, offset and back pitched lines. We dig where the camera says to dig, and we pull the permits and handle the DOB paperwork.
Kitchen, bathroom, laundry, floor and yard drains. Same day service most of the time, at a flat rate you hear before we start.
Repair, replacement and upgrades on gas, electric and tankless units. We pull the permits and stay for the inspection.
We locate hidden leaks behind walls and under slabs with acoustic equipment and a camera, so we open up as little of your home as possible.
A sewer backup at 2 in the morning doesn't wait until Monday. Call any hour, including weekends and holidays.
Landlords, supers and property managers: we work multi-family and mixed use buildings across the city and can bill the building directly.
Set up an accountMost people worry about not knowing what a job will cost or how long it will take. Here's how a job runs with us.
Call any hour and tell us what's happening. Which fixtures are backing up, how long it's been going on, what floor you're on. We'll tell you whether this needs someone tonight or whether it can wait until morning.
We find the cleanout, check the run, and put a camera down the line when the job calls for it. You see the same screen we do.
A flat rate for the job before any work starts. If we find something bigger once we're in the line, we stop and tell you before going any further.
We run the line, test it under flow to confirm it's actually open, and put the space back the way we found it. Then we tell you what caused the blockage so you can keep it from happening again.
We've spent years in basements and under sidewalks from Bay Ridge to the Bronx, so we know what's down there. Most of this city runs on hundred year old cast iron and clay laterals with roots at every joint, and a lot of those building drains have worn thin. When you call, you're talking to the person who will be at your door.
Sewer work happens under your floor or under the sidewalk, so most people never see it. These are photos from our own jobs.

Tell us what you haveIt depends on the hour and where you are in the city. We run emergency calls around the clock, and same day is normal for standard drain work. Call and we'll give you a real time window on the phone. If we can't get there when you need us, we'll say so instead of leaving you waiting.
Drain cleaning is a flat rate that we quote before we start. Sewer and main line repair varies with depth, pipe material and how much of the line is affected, which is why we camera the line first and price the actual job instead of guessing over the phone. You'll have a number before anyone picks up a tool.
When several fixtures are affected at once, water comes up at the lowest one, and the tub gurgles when you flush a toilet, the problem is usually the main line rather than one branch. Something is blocking the run between the building and the city sewer, most often roots at a joint, built up grease, or a break in the pipe. Stop running water and call. Plunging one fixture won't reach it, and chemical drain openers make the job harder and more dangerous for whoever opens the pipe.
Snaking cuts a path through the blockage and gets the line flowing again quickly, which is the right call for most one time stoppages and for objects stuck in the pipe. Hydro jetting scours the full inside wall back to the original diameter, so it's what you want for heavy grease and for a drain that closes up again a few months after every cleaning. If you've had the same drain cleared twice in a year, jetting is usually the answer.
Usually, yes. A camera shows roots, cracks, offsets, low spots and back pitch, and it locates them, so we know whether to open the ground at all and exactly where. We'll show you the footage. Anyone recommending excavation without running a camera first is guessing with your money.
Yes. Sewer repair and replacement work in the city requires permits and filings, and that's our job to sort out. We'll go over what your specific address needs before the work starts.
Regularly. We cover multi-family and mixed use buildings in all five boroughs and can bill the building or the management company directly. If you manage several properties and want one number to call, get in touch and we'll set that up.
Stop using water anywhere in the building. No flushing, no laundry, no dishwasher, because every gallon has to go somewhere and right now it has nowhere to go. Don't pour chemical drain opener down the line. If sewage has come up onto the floor, keep people and pets away from it. Then call us.
